Herbs de Provence
I had been buying Herbs de Provence from a local market for years while all the time growing most of the herbs in my garden every year. Considering I use the herb mix to flavour grilled and roasted meats, omelets, stews and soups I could have saved a small fortune if I had just made my own. Here is my version. Enjoy.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon thyme
- 2 tablespoon chervil
- 2 tablespoon rosemary
- 2 tablespoon summer savory
- 2 teaspoon lavender
- 2 teaspoon tarragon
- 2 teaspoon marjoram
- 2 teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon mint
- 2 powdered or chopped bay leaves
Directions
- Mix together all of the ingredients and store in a tightly sealed container.
