Season-all Seasoning Blend

IMG_20150323_095305_editAs you’ve probably figured out by now,  I have issues with buying commercially made food. I don’t like buying things I can make myself – especially things that I can make better – with higher quality ingredients and, most importantly, a fresher homemade taste. That’s why I make my own spice seasoning mixes. It’s not just about the money, either.  I don’t like food additives, preservatives, or questionable and unpronounceable ingredients which add nothing but bulk, making the overall mix cheaper to make for the manufacturer, but unhealthier for me. I also have no use for the excess packaging that comes along with many of the commercially made blends.

This “Mrs. Dash” type spice mix is one of my top six seasoning mixes along with Herbs de Provence, Breakfast Blend Spice Mix, Devils Dust, Adobo Seasoning and my Chili Seasoning.

Once you’ve given this a try, you’ll discover how much fresher “scratch made” tastes, and how much kinder they are to your wallet, too!
