  • 2 cups dates (pitted, soaked in warm water for 15 minutes, then drained)
  • ½ cup dried black currents, chopped
  • ½ cup Sunbutter/nut butter
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • 3 cups Quinoa flakes
  • ¼ cup chia seeds, rice bran
  • ¼ coconut oil
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Soak the dates in warm water for 15 minutes, and drain.
  3. Place dates, dried currants, almonds, peanut butter, quinoa and seeds in a food processor and blend until combined well.
  4. Scoop mixture into a greased 8x8 glass baking pan, pressing down firmly to make an even layer.
  5. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  6. Cut into 16 rectangle bars. Vacuum seal 2
